This program firstly aims at providing an opportunity to identify the problems/challenges that the police organizations of participating countries are facing in the field of international criminal investigation and to observe how Japanese Police have worked in this field through a case study. This opportunity ultimately makes it possible for participants to consider how to change and improve their police activities for international criminal investigations and crime prevention, and to strengthen the ties of mutual international cooperation. - For whom?
This program is offered to the central police agency of participating countries, and especially for middle ranking officials in charge of international criminal investigation or Mutual Legal Assistance in criminal matters.
